GICLEE Canvas
Giclee is a method of printing that creates high quality prints using a spraying technique with pigment based inks.
THREE basic requirements for Giclee:
- high resolution (300dpi or more)
- printed on archival cotton/poly canvas (acid free and water resistant)
- pigment based inks with UV protectants
The printer used for giclee is usually larger format model that can hold 8-12 color ink cartridges which generates a more sophisticated color range.
